A MOTHER'S LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL

So, I read this news about a Swedish mother who saved her children from a fire. The fact that she didn’t care about getting burnt multiple times just to save her children, one by one, was just so inspiring for me. We take our mothers for granted and it’s such a shame. Sadly, often our response to the hard work our mother’s put in to raising us is so dismissive - "it’s their duty to take care of their children". But why doesn’t it apply to the children as well? Why it is just the duty of the parents with, very often, no gratitude from the children for the effort their parents make?

Emma Scholes is definitely a super mom! She saved her 6 kids running from room to room and floor to floor. I’m really amazed at the motivation she had to keep going. We can't even bear a little finger burn, but this supermom sustained 93% burns across her body! Reading such inspiring stories just makes me even more indebted to my Mom. We live very busy lives and in those busy lives, we give our time to all the unnecessary stuff (Youtube, Facebook, TikTok and etc.). We can easily spend hours watching videos on YouTube which most of the time doesn’t even make sense, wasting the valuable time we should be giving our loved ones.

It takes time, effort, and love to build a relationship. I know I’m going a bit off-topic but the point I’m going to make is very important so bear with me, please. Even in the most altruistic relationship, similar to the one we have with God has a give and take. We pray to him and follow his commands, and as result he promises us paradise. Our relationship with everyone, especially our Mothers should be the same. They long for our time and we are bound to give that time and love to them, which they rightly deserve. Life is too short and times like COVID-19 just prove how fragile we are as humans. Spend most of your time with your loved ones, so you’ll not regret it when they’re gone.

I’ll close this blog with an amazing quote from the Magnificent Quran:
